Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is an Canadian actress best known for her portrayal of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian heritage. She was captivated by acting from the age of eight and appeared in numerous commercials while a young. In the beginning, she paused her acting, but returned to it in 2001 at the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named Cerra one of Vancouvers top 5 young actors. Cerra appeared as in the role of deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television show Eureka that aired between 2006 and 2012. A music video for the Michael Buble track Save the Last Dance for Me was released in 2006. Cerra's credits include leading roles in a variety of critically and wildly acclaimed television shows, including Battlestar Galactica. Her film credits include Blade:Trinity featuring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck in the lead role, as well as Man About Town. Cerras' face and body were used as models for the character Ashley Williams for the Mass Effect series of video games. Other guest-starring roles she has played are on Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. Other credits include Cerra has been featured on the Canadian crime drama Cold Squad and in Special Unit 2 as well the thriller that is supernatural The Collector. Khondabi states that as she's the middle child, I get to steal clothes from my sisters the closets of my sisters. Joey Scribner Howard works as an industry mechanic and mechanical engineer. Khondabi said that Joey and she met in the classroom at Greenwood Christian School, and they were close friends for a number of years prior to beginning to meet as senior high school students. Howard the student, who shifted out of Irmo to Dutch Fork High School and graduated from there, remained close with Khondabi. They then began dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School, graduating in 2007 and also of The University of South Carolina where she earned a degree with broadcast journalism. She studied sports management and entertainment. Joey is also a graduate of USC degree. Liam the dog is their fur baby. Khondabi revealed that both Joey as well as Joey like eating food and that one of the foods they love eating in their home is the onion ring that they get from Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi said, "I'm interested. When I was in elementary school, I used to conduct educational interviews which were broadcast on the school's news channel and then I would be the anchor for school news headlines on a daily basis. The news program we had in Oakland Elementary was called WOAK. After graduation, Khondabi said her first big job as a news reporter came from WAGT which was in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi recalled that she was employed as a reporter at Augusta Georgia for approximately six years. I was a morning host in Charleston, West Virginia for WOWK. After that, I moved to Columbus Ohio which is where I was the morning and traffic anchor on the local ABC/FOX affiliate.
